Friday 30th November – walk **** – Hemley to Waldringfield - sunny.

November has been a good month, 10 windsurfing sessions, 6 walks but only 1 bike ride and even managed to have 3 nights away in our little camper. After days of good winds but mainly cloudy, today the wind had dropped and we had wall to wall sunshine so after a morning at home, with mag being busy clearing the garden for the last couple of days she then took it to the dump, while I did my exercises and registered my new Fuji lenses:) Then we decided to park up at Hemley church and walk to Waldringfield and make use a meal voucher Mag she got for her birthday. We were not in any hurry to reach the Maybush Pub trying to avoid the lunchtime rush. Parking up at 1.30 I put my new 100 – 400 lens on and it is a bit of a beast but can be carried on a walk but you do miss lots of shots with the long lens as you need the wide angle 18 – 135 but I wanted to try it out and love it, you can crop the pics down and still get lovely sharp pics:) After the rain we were expecting it to be muddy but the path was fine as we strolled along tree lined paths with stunning views down to the River Deben. We arrived at the pub in half an hour and it was quiet so got a good table in the window:) Mag wanted a burger with pulled pork but they didn’t do it so got a lamb burger while I was boring having Fish and chips but it was very nice:) We left the pub at 3.15 and walked back as the sun was setting. We then had to go to Martlesham Tesco for diesel and got caught up in heavy traffic. Then nearing home I noticed something wrong with the van and I have a terrible feeling the clutch is going !!!! That’s more expense:(
